Practice Management

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Our team of receptionists are here to help and assist you.  If you have a query that cannot be solved they will endeavour to find someone that can help.
In some circumstances our reception staff are required to ask for as much information as possible - for example when a home visit is requested.  This is in order for your doctor to assess the situation and deal with it correctly.  Confidentiality is a priority at the surgery and any information given will be dealt with appropriately.

We are unable to give out any information to family members or friends unless written consent from the patient concerned has been given to the practice.  Please understand that this is a stipulation of the Data Protection Act and is for the protection of our patients.
