Chesterfield Volunteer Centre:

Can offer a shopping service for housebound patients with no family to help them

They are open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Contact Number 01246 276777

Patients need to have a shopping list ready when they call the number. They can then arrange payment by one of the following methods. Cheque, Invoice and pay later, Debit/Credit Card via their website, paypal and cash as a last resort as trying to keep germs to an absolute minimum

MOL - Medicines Order Line

From the 3rd February 2020 the way you can order your prescriptions is changing. A new NHS medicines order line is a convenient way for your to order your prescription. This new service will be available on 01246 588 860 9.00am-4.00pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

This means you can now order your prescription in four ways:

- In writing at the surgery

- Online (please bring your photo ID to reception to get your log in details if not already set up)

- Our MyGP app (please bring your photo ID to reception to get your log in details if not already set up)

- The new phone order line - 01246 588860

The Surgery's phone lines are available 8:00am until 6:00pm.

From 6:00pm – 8:00am clinical cover is provided by the Out of Hours Service, you can access this by phoning 111. 

The practice doors remain open until 6:30pm for collection of prescriptions, booking appointments and other non-clinical queries.

8-8 Hub at The Brimington Surgery

Local GP Practices are working together to offer patients better access to GP appointments in Chesterfield. You can now book appointments to see a GP, practice nurse or other health professional at the 8-8 Access Hub held at The Brimington Surgery  in the evenings from 18.00 to 20.00 and at weekends Saturday 08.00 –12.00 and Sundays 09.00 -12.00.
